Maybe it’s the fact that I’m still on a come down from last weekend. Note to self-I may be getting too old (or wise) for after hours clubs that keep me up and dancing till 7am…or it’s the fact that I’m on a diet of red wine and take-out while holed up at my dad’s place (On Laurel Canyon-fitting, right?) but I loved this little indie. “Laurel Canyon” was your typical Hollywood Hills inspired movie with an artistic undertone (Catherine Hardwick did the production design) It had the likes of Frances McDormand, Christian Bale, Kate Beckinsale, drugs, music, pools, The Chateau Marmont, and of course some cheating and threesomes. Why is it that movies like that make me question who I am and what I’m doing? I’m jealous of this mania…I need to get my head together.
